Dear Helga,
Do you ever think about going out with Arnold's cousin
Arnie? Heck, you like Arnold a lot, and you might be able to get both of them.
And, speaking of Arnold... when you got Arnold too rub your foot on the bus, did
he actually tickle your foot, or were you just trying too make Lila
jealous?
- Helgoth
Helgoth,
How can you say that I, Helga G. Pataki, "like Arnold a
lot"? Crimeney! How could I ever possess feelings for that football head,
anyway? And the idea of going out with Arnie is possibly even worse than my
liking Arnold. The guy collects gum wrappers, for cryin' out loud! As to Arnold
tickling my feet... uh, I was completely faking it! I was doing the old football
head a favor and using my acting skills to make Lila jealous. There's nothing
else to it!
- Helga
Connie and Maria,
When you went to the dance with Arnold and Gerald,
how did you know they were fourth graders? Just curious!
- SL
Hey SL,
Those kids were just too cute and innocent, not to mention
short, to be sixth graders. Plus, we had seen them hanging around other fourth
graders in the neighborhood before, so we sorta figured it out.
- Connie and
Maria
Dear Olga,
Do you think you and Helga will ever understand each
other?
- Helga Fan
Helga Fan,
My baby sister and I already share such an incredible
bond with each other! Though we haven't exactly been close in the past, I feel
that we have become so close that we can really understand each other. We truly
have the most perfect relationship!
- Award-Winning Olga Pataki
Hey Arnold!
I had a question considering your home life. (Please don't
be offended!) I was just wondering how you felt about living with only adults.
Do you ever wish that any of the boarders had kids? Or do you like being the
only kid in the boarding house?
- Cybra
Hi there Cybra,
It sometimes gets a bit lonely living without any
kids around, but if I want to hang around with another kid, I can always call
Gerald or go play with some kids in the field. In any case, it's sometimes like
the other boarders are 'big kids' anyway, since a few of them can be pretty
immature sometimes.
- Arnold
Mr. Simmoms,
I have two questions for you.
1. Do you like Dr.
Bliss?
2. Are you related to Richard Simmons?
- Eve K. Lily
Dear Eve,
Thanks for your interesting and unique
questions! Well, to answer your first question... while Dr. Bilss is certainly
an intelligent and special individual, I am not really attracted to her in, uh,
that way. You'll probably understand when you're older. And, while I enjoy
exercising along with Richard Simmons' tapes, I am not related to him. Well,
stay special!
- Mr. Simmons
Helga,
Okay, so you like ______. Well, in Preschool, do you think those
other kids knew that you liked ______? Maybe not, but if they did and they
started saying things right now, and then ______ reacted, how would you react?
Yupper! Same thing happened to my friend, uh wait, what is his name? Oh yeah!
Justin liked a girl named uh, Melina. Since first grade, he liked her, and he
was making reactions. This year, which is 5th grade, Melina found out, but
little tough luck for Justin.
Also, what I also wanted to ask you was if you
were just sitting around at school like if you were at a chorus rehersal. Then,
you saw a girl you never saw before with a big solo, and a dancer. And you knew
one of her siblings, and you talked to that sibling and she told you all about
that girl with the big solo and you wanted to meet her, how? She was older, and
she acted different... like my friend told me that she says, like 'get away from
me' and stuff, would you need advice? If you do, I have great advice! In
private, go up to her and talk to her. If she is mean, do your thing or just
walk away. But yes, I need some advice for that too.
Bye!
Your
Friend,
SteiveLynn (Not Steve)
Dear SteiveLynn (Not Steve),
Uh... Okay.
-
Helga
Lila,
Are you so friendly with Arnold because you are just
friendly in nature, or are you acting on basic instinct, in that you enjoy the
attention he lavishes on you? Come on. You can't tell me that you don't enjoy
stringing him along!
- Helga's Lost Twin
Dear Helga's Lost Twin,
Goodness, I just like to be nice
to Arnold because he is a nice person, even though it's ever so annoying when he
tries to get me to 'like him like him'. I could not imagine just 'stringing him
along' for the attention. That would be ever so cruel!
- Lila
